Mountain Idyll – under construction 2
Architecture

October 30th 2014, Today for the first time a visit on the muddy site. Building Contractor DonkerGroen built a 1:1 mockup of the 200 meter urn wall, made of recycled standard 30x30cm paving tiles. So we could make decisions about the way how to handle the stones, balancing between regularity and irregularity.
On the site shovels are busy to shape the terraces of the mountain and preparing the lines for foundations. Very exciting to see emerging a landscape that plays with an appearing and disappearing horizon.

Located in Park Lingezegen between Arnhem and Nijmegen NL.
